The 'vinyl maniacs' Paine' (Minù Painè Cuadrelli) & Dj Fonx (Michele Fontanelli) first met in Milano in 1997. Their shared great passion for black music (from vintage jazz to the modern electronic evolutions) and gentle obsession for the12 inches push them to dj several times together. In 1999 they decide to start I Maniaci Dei Dischi project, a dj set with 3 to 6 turntables playing at once over-imposing and blending sound fx, accappellas, intrumental short pieces, scratches and a selection of many dance rhythms (hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, drum'n'bass, house, dub, latin, reggae.
