Years have passed since Hasta La Vista Social Club started collecting influences from the bizarre soil of Knifecity, Finland. From a winter 2003 the band has played melodic punkrock. As time have passed the material turned more catchier but still keeping it's credibility for the genre. At first the whole thing got started with a several demo tapes, but soon many finnish punk listeners heard it through the grapevine that there are a distinctive punkband holding it's headquarters at Knifecity.
