She founded her first band in the 4. class (German school system) and has singing lessons since her 14. birthday. Everything started with a performance at her grandpa's 65th birthday. Since then music is her life. In 2000 she went to the casting of „Popstars“ but due to her nervousness she forgot text and melody She also makes sacrifices for her career: She gave up her tongue-piercing because it bothered the jury of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (German version of "American Idol")
