Anne Linnet took a daring turn into the eighties- leaving the leftist singer/songwriter style and polished jazzpop, instead opting for a sexually explorative lyricism combined with an outright commercial white popfunk, a band called "Marquis de Sade", and dirty dancing theatrics. They recorded a couple of albums with some of Linnets biggest hits like "Venus" as part of the history.
