Vijay Antony was initially working as a sound engineer and later became music director. Antony, who joined Loyola College in 1998, started, after finishing college, his own studio named 'Audiophiles', where he first did sound engineering and later composed jingles for TV and for documentaries.[1] It was then, when Aascar Ravichandran approached Antony to compose music for the film Dishyum and he eventually entered the Tamil film industry.
