In 1998, Nyrok City 's guitarist Edy formed the most beautiful band in Estonia and it was named ARUPURUGURUHARK. A lovely name it was, but too long and difficult to pronounce and remember. So the name was shortened to HARK. Anyway, Edy kept playing the guitar, and Katariina, who had such a wonderful midtone voice, singing. Basist Martini's love for reggae had its influence. And some time later, HARK was renamed GURUHARK. They performed in Tartu, Tallinn, Pärnu and Riga.
