Swingin' Thing was founded in 1987 and hit the Sunset Strip in 1989 with their Hard Rock / 80s Hairmetal band style. Playing at sold out clubs every nite the boyz became cult in Hollywood. In 1991 they had a chance to hit big when they signed a contract with Monster Records, a record label from Japan, where they released a 5 Track EP and did a tour thru Japan. One year later they signed a deal with Hollywood Records and Virgin Publishing as The Things, but things didn't turn out, as we all know during the 90s Grunge hit the world.
