L’Avventura is a San Francisco-based rock band. Formed in 2005, the group consists of Jeff Davis (vocals, guitar), Fergus Griffin (guitar, vocals), Aldo Silver (bass guitar, vocals), Stevie Utstein (cello, keyboards, vocals), Art McConnell(Drums), Shaina Evoniuk (violin, vocals), and Helen Aki (guitar, vocals). The band places a heavy emphasis on classic songwriting and draws influences from a wide variety of artists including Roxy Music, T-Rex, ELO, The Clash, Bob Dylan, Belle and Sebastien, Elvis Costello, and The Beach Boys, to name a few.
