Naing Naing is the name under which François L'H., guitarist of Tear of a Doll and formerly of Heimat-Los) produces eclectic music based on the assumption that any sound can become a musical instrument through digital processing. The most experimental part of his work consists in producing whole songs from a unique source of sound that is turned into drums, bass line and melodies. The "concrete pop" aesthetics also allows Naing Naing to succesfully merge music styles that are alien to each other such as musique concrete and hardcore punk or musique concrete and gamelan or blues and so on.
