Tigermoth’s tracks are eerily nocturnal instrumentals that brood and hypnotise with their druggily downtempo beats. They evoke feelings that are strangely specific, as if each of the tracks is its own street in a different city.
According to Tigermoth, the feeling of a sense of place is definitely an influence on him. Place and time. much of his influence comes from having lived in Japan. Plenty of record stores there, which was ideal for chasing samples and finding good beats to influence.
