Machinations was a Sydney-based Australian pop band in the early 1980s. Notable national hits included "Pressure Sway", "My Heart's On Fire" and "No Say In It". Band Members: * Fred Loneragan (vocals)

* Tony Starr (keyboards) Initially, the band used a drum machine, but changed to a human drummer before the Big Music album. Drummers used were: * Warren McLean 1983-1986
