Born in Sweden in 1988, Randen started playing guitar at the tender age of 9. He made his first public appearance at Sweden Rock Festival at the age of 11, playing with Swedish power rock trio Freak Kitchen. At age 11 he also made a stunning appearance performing Frank Zappas polyrhythmic nightmare "Black Page". Only 12 years old Randen began recording his debut album with mentor/good friend/guitar hero Mattias "IA" Eklundh, guitar player and lead singer with Freak Kitchen and (Favored Nations) solo artist.
