Piskie Sits hail from Wakefield in West Yorkshire. Rather than riding the wave of the New-Yorkshire indie-pop scene, the boys crafted their own brand of alt-american-rock taking influence from such early luminaries as Pavement, Sonic Youth, The Smashing Pumpkins, plus latter day saints The National, The Strokes, Blur and many others. The band have undergone line-up changes through the years until happening upon their current 6-man incarnation in mid 2009.
