From left to right: Mike Wallis (guitar), Lindsay Beard (backing vocals), Amanda Ashby (cello & backing vocals), Paul Mex (bass), Gary Pinker (lead vocals) It could be argued that the Gambit of Shame were ahead of their time when comparisons are made with today's music scene. Unfortunately they only really existed on the underground & fringe of the mainstream music scene whilst together from 1981 until their demise, in the apt year of 1984.
