Somma (SACRED ORDER OF MUSIC MAGIC AND ART) is the brainchild of Italian guitarist/producer Eraldo Bernocchi and of visual artist Petulia Mattioli. It is a “pure” live world music project, which, in its current incarnation, pursues the integration of Tibetan chanting and instrumentation with electronics, dub and electronic jazz. This integration is not mere juxtaposition, arising instead as an integrated live performance, after several prior days of rehearsals. Each Somma performance is therefore a unique event.
