In Summer 2004, Cosmic Squad was launched by Johannes Ripken, producer of Northstar Connection. Since then, several remixes were released by German and British record labels. The style of Cosmic Squad can be described as Hardtrance / High Energy Trance, with influences by German Dance music. The project has been led as remix project by Johannes Ripken to have a stilistic diverse project next to OverDrive Division. Cosmic Squad contributed its remixes to German and international artists.
