There are three bands named The Resistance
1. The Resistance the new Sweden-based metal band featuring former members of In Flames, The Haunted, Grave.
They play melodic death metal, with some influences of hardcore metal and "classic" death metal. Members: Marco Aro - vocals (Face Down, ex the Haunted)
Jesper Strömblad - guitar (ex In Flames, Dimension Zero)
Glenn Ljungström - guitar (ex In Flames, Dimension Zero)
Alex Losbäck Holstad - bass (ex Despite, Decameron, Cardinal Sin)
Chris Barkensjö - drums (Carnal Forge, Godsic, ex Grave)
