There are multiple bands called the Saxons. 1. A 60s UK beat band who worked with Joe Meek. They released the album "Meet The Saxons" on the label Ace Of Clubs in 1963 (Decca re-released the album in 1964) and the single "Saxon Warcry" on Decca in 1965. Members included: Tommy Worth (Bass), Allan Taylor (Drums), Gerry Cook (Lead Guitar), Dave Bruce (Rhythm Guitar) and colin mac (Vocals) 2. A 60s US garage rock band who released the single "Camel Walk" on Norton Records. 3. A 60s Australian rock band, founded in 1962 and disbanded in 1965, who appeared on three compilation albums.
