1) Strait Up was a hardcore band from Columbia, South Carolina. They were Chris McLane on drums & vocals, Matt McCarty on bass & vocals and Scott Dempsey on guitar & vocals. They released a 10 song demo cassette in late 1990, a split 7" with Unherd in 1991 on Funky Young Records, and appeared on two compilations; The Please No Profanity CD on Closet Normal, and the In Our Blood 12" on Reform.
