Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Frederik came to Los Angeles in 2004 to pursue the career of a film composer. After a 3-year assistant position with veteran composer John Frizzell, Wiedmann started to work out of his own studio, where he scored his first feature "Return to House on Haunted Hill" for Dark Castle Entertainment and Warner Brothers in 2007.
