Dana was born in Tel Aviv of Iraqi/Singapore and English descent, she has been in London since the age of three. Training at Central School of Speech and Drama and alongside her live gigs and recording sessions, she went straight into songwriting. Together with the extraordinary Australian guitarist/composer/producer Mark Johns (Ray Davies, Jeff Beck, Natasha Bedingfield) they formed a writing and performing partnership which has seen their songs on everything from albums to TV soaps, documentaries, film, drama, radio and tv commercials in the U.
