Tony Deerfield is the legendary founder of seminal Chicago area rock bands Chowder Horse, Earthman Mental Intermission, the Bumbling Idiots, and Small Portion. While in high school, his mother received a 'vision from the Lord' that Tony should drop out of school and move to Los Angeles to start a new rock band. In 1994 he was nearly killed in the Northridge earthquake. This led him to relocate temporarily to Orange County, California where he recruited Tyrone Wells, Joey Aszterbaum and Keith Gove.
