Broke One entered the spotlight when Djs started labeling him as the new hottest European talent and now he is spreading his own vision of funk around the globe. In mid-2000 he started off by spinning house tracks blended with heavy bass sounds. Subsequently, after endless home-studio sessions, he forged his unique sound shaped by his inclination towards house melodies; Broke One’s strongest musical influences are, among others, Chicago’s Trax Records, Paris’ Roulé and old-school hip-hop.
