Formed in 1990 in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Existing in their present line-up from 1996, Pleurisy developed a very own Death Metal-style, combining brutality & melody in a way which is refreshing to the metal scene. After 2 demo-tapes, their split-cd with Asgaia “Unholy Spheres”, their promising debut-cd “Experience the Sacrilege” (1999) and their second album "Dazed & Deranged" (2003) they have gained a well-known name in the Dutch metal-scene with excellent reviews and a devastating live-reputation established by gigs with bands like Cannibal Corpse...
