Veikko "Vexi" Salmi (born 21.9.1942, Hämeenlinna, lives in Helsinki) is well-known, successful Finnish lyricist, whose products have been public since the year 1965, when he started with his friend Irwin Goodman. He has worked as the record producer in Fazer Music and in his own firms, Levytuottajat and Flamingo Music. He has written the books and the handscripts to the theater plays also.
