Jesse "The Devil" Hughes (born 1972) is an American musician from Greenville, South Carolina. Hughes is band-leader of California-based garage rock band, Eagles of Death Metal. He is often nicknamed "Boots Electric" or "Fabulous Weapon". Hughes graduated from the University of South Carolina and was a teacher before forming Eagles of Death Metal. He considers rocking out as the frontman of EofDM as "It's rock n' roll lottery fantasy stuff."
