The Mundane is a five-piece alternative / indie rock band formed in year 1998 in Tukums, Latvia. In year 2002 they recorded and published (UPE Recording Company) debut full-length album "Klaji meli". The Mundane have played shows with Latvian band Prāta Vētra, also Placebo during their performance in Rīga in year 2001. They have performed in Forte Riga culture festival, several shows in Lithuania. New studio record is upcoming soon. Current lineup consists: Gatis Zaķis - guitar / vocal
