Eager to avoid being pigeonholed, Japhy Ryder prefers not to be categorized, but when pressed, they describe their unique sound as a blend of funk, jazz and drum n bass. Japhy Ryder keeps people dancing. Armed with a guitar, bass, drums and trumpet--this Burlington based quartet is one of the tightest bands on the scene today. In addition to their steady tour schedule, Japhy has also performed at various festivals including Camp Bisco V, Lumberjam at Sunshine Daydream, Northeast Kingdom Music Festival and the St. Michaels College SpringFest.
