There are three groups that have used the name Skum. 1. Self-descripted "the steam-roller of groove and goodness", Skum is an independent band exisiting since 1999. SKUM's musical style incorporates death metal and hardcore amongst other influences from various genres. Current line-up:

2. A NYC-based, seemingly inactive punk rock outfit (often written with an umlaut - Sküm) centered around lead singer femme-fatale Fern Burns.
