Pestaña is an electropop band from Lima, Peru. It actually consists of Leonardo Bacteria (lead vocals, programming) and Adri Vainilla (vocals), supported during live shows by Fad 21 (synthesizers). They define their music as "electrostupidity", due to their basic arranging & programming, their parodic lyrics and their "anti-artistic" philosophy. The band was formed in 2004, after frontman and producer Bacteria quit his previous industrial/grindcore solo project (called 'Insumisión'), while exploring a more commercial, techno-pop sound.
