This crossover-band from Haarlem is formed on 05-05-1987 by Kees Klomp (vocals, ex-DIPSTICKS) and Ernst van Baak (CITADEL, ex- DIPSTICKS, ex-ULTOR and ex-NIGGLER/ELIXER) together with Ben Humpig (guitar) Danny Vlaspoel (guitar) and Stein (drums). After the summer of 1987 Danny Vlaspoel and Stein left to form CRANK ADULTS and later EGGHEAD. Louis Melger (guitar) and Fred "Drifter" van Hensbergen (drums) replaced them..... Not completely satisfied with their name they changed their name from BRUTAL OBSCENITY to SHREDDED LEAD to HYBRID (1 gig, their first) to BRUTAL back to BRUTAL OBSCENITY.
