The Polish Viking Metal band Norden was established in 1993 as a Northflame's project . In 1994, the bassist Surtr and guitarist Aanduril came to the group. In that composition they recorded the first two works: «Golden Way to Valhalla» (1995), and studio demo «Blood on the sky - blue of my sword» (studio «Czad», 1996).
The band began to give concerts, and they also performed such songs as: Memoria Vetus, Trivial Thorn, Lza Zeschniętej Róży. In 1997, Norden recorded their debut album «Glory in Flames» in the studio «Manek - Studio», which is placed in the Polish city of Sanok.
