Crow Black Sky formed in Cape Town in early 2009. The band performs a style that draws influence from throughout the extreme metal spectrum, occasionally utilizing progressive, classical and acoustic elements, while keeping a balance between skilled musicianship, texture, atmosphere and a heavy foundation laid down by three seven-string guitarists.
