Born and based in Paris, T-ka (taken from the Indian Tikka symbol) started composing pop melodies in 2000 to accompany her soulful voice. She started her career performing solo vocal/piano performances in Paris, Little and New York. In 2004, she opened for Maceo Parker in Paris and currently lends her voice to different 'electro' projects such as Almost Hydrofoiling by Bikini Rumble released in 2005 (Montera Music/La Baleine).
