Cobra Dukes are the brainchild of one Kyle Gibson, a brainy type who's no child but is young enough to find the new wave era of Associates, Bowie, Cure and Devoto sufficiently fresh to turn a fascination into a fetish. Or at least a way to make a living. They - Gibson plus musical other half Gianello, the Alan Rankine of the piece - released their debut single, Leave The Light On, in summer 2007. It sounded like Associates circa 1980...
