There are at least 3 bands that are named The Brood 1) The band started in 1984 when guitar player Jon Nelson and drummer Amery Smith quit Suicidal Tendencies to form a band with former Neighborhood Watch bass player John Flitcraft and guitar player Todd Moyer. Nelson took care of the vocal duties in The Brood with a little help from Moyer, who sang on a few songs. The Brood got a record deal with Profile Records and released their one and only self-titled album, The Brood, on 1986.
