There are two bands from the UK called The Lucid Dream. The first formed in 1990 hailing from Gloucester in the West Country. Some would describe their sound as 'rural psychedelia' others simple 'a pop-sike nightmare'! By 1991 had already undetaken a UK tour supporting Echo and the Bunnymen and had the 'Dippy' 12 EP released on the Bunnymen's Euphoric Records produced by the Bunnymen's keyboard player Jake Brockman and legendary guitarist Will Sergeant. The group were beginning to make a name for themselves especially on the live circuit and building a great reputation.
