There are two artists that have recorded under the name Prostitutes: 1. Prostitutes is the alias used by James Donadio of Cleveland, United States, for his murky, physically affective explorations of post-Techno and synth noise. 2. Post-Punk/New Wave band from Torino (Piemonte, North Italy).
The band was founded at the end of the 70’s around the figures of Augusto Panebarco (voice and guitar), Giorgio Pulini (bass) and Claudio Lamancusa (drums). They released some demo tapes and some participations to important compilations of the label/radiophonic program Tracce - Radio Torino Popolare.
