Marion Ramsey is best known as Police Academy's Laverne Hooks (the diminutive African American female, with a high-pitched voice), she is also an accomplished singer-songwriter. She has co-composed with Patrick Grant & recently recorded with Veronique Chevalier, for their Polka Haunt Us: A Spook-tacular Compilation release.
