His first band, "Illustration", appeared on the Some Bizarre album of 1981, which also featured the first recordings by the likes of, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Blancmange and the The. After a few years honing his musical skills Morgan moved to Chicago in the late 80's, where he got together with godfather of house, Marshall Jefferson, and house diva Kym Mazelle for the writing of her first album.
