Cory Allan Monteith (May 11, 1982 - July 13, 2013) was a Canadian actor and singer, best known for being part of the Glee Cast. Monteith was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. Monteith appeared on Fox's 2009 television hit Glee, portraying male lead Finn Hudson for the show's first four seasons. Prior to Glee, Monteith claimed to have had no experience with singing or dancing; however, he was a fairly talented drummer.
